Malt House Hounds was born when Sonny Hevingham wanted to turn his love for dogs into a business, which is known as Malt House Hounds Doggy Daycare built on love from a dog owner himself and specialized thanks to his qualifications from animal management helping him provide the most special home for dogs.
With a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and a genuine passion for canine welfare, Sonny has created an environment that prioritises enrichment, safety, and the kind of love that makes dogs feel right at home.
Since opening in June 2025, we've been welcoming dogs into small supervised playgroups where they can socialise, explore, and simply be dogs all while being surrounded by the beautiful Shropshire countryside.
A warm indoor space with a specialized dog pod area for rest and relaxation between play sessions.
A large grassy orchard for gentle play, exploration, and connecting with nature.
A section for outdoor time and agility fun.
Supervised groups of up to 8 dogs, ensuring safety, comfort, and individual attention. From big pups to little ones.
Monday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Up to 8 dogs per day in small supervised groups
Capable of picking up your dog and dropping back off
Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management and a qualification in Dog First Aid
